TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK Guests will be picked up early from their hotel and transferred to the Nairobi Railway Station for a 08h00 departure on the Madaraka Express to the Voi Railway Station. Upon arrival, visitors will be met by the Premier Africa Tours driver-guide who will assist with the transfer to Tsavo West National Park. The park is a vast expanse of the African savannah with a diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi-desert scrub, woodland, and the Chyulu Hills. Other ecosystems of Tsavo West are open grasslands, scrublands, acacia woodlands, riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges. This diversity means a variety of wildlife for guests to see. There is magnificent game viewing of elephant, giraffe rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, diverse plant and bird species, and for the keen birders, the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra reed warbler. TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK Enjoy breakfast before going on the first game drive of the day. The varied habitats of Tsavo West National Park offer the ideal area to search for lions, buffalos, cheetahs, and many plains game, as well as providing a diverse array of bird species. The Mzima Springs is made up of four natural springs, the source of which is underneath the Chyulu Hills. The spring is a popular attraction in the Tsavo West due to the large numbers of hippo and Nile crocodiles that gather here, along with other wildlife, due to it being the main water source for many kilometers. It is a perfect place to stop and watch the wildlife antics. Visitors enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK Guests depart for an early morning game drive before having breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, guests will leave the Tsavo West National Park and head north along the border to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is one of the best places in Africa outside of Chobe to view large herds of elephants, as well as being home to a large variety of other wildlife. One of the most notable attractions of the park is the opportunity for guests with to meet and interact local Maasai people and learn about their way of life and culture. Guests arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, and later, enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK Spend a full day in Amboseli National Park, with scheduled morning and late afternoon shared game drives. Amboseli National Park lies below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, rewarding visitors with stunning views when the weather is clear. The park is home to large herds of elephants, as well as affords guests great opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, and more. For the bird lover, there are 400 species to try and spot. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
DEPARTURE Guests enjoy an early breakfast traveling to the Emali Railway Station to board the morning train back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, guests are met by a Premier Africa Tours representative, who will assist with the transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for further travel.
